The process

Cato composes long-form ambient for sleep apps, galleries and one very patient ferry terminal. He works in extended sessions, generating short seed textures and stretching them into hour-long beds with granular tools. His loudness and dynamics documentation for meditative audio has become the informal standard.

   Generate seeds, not songs

   Thirty-second textures only. Structure comes later, by hand.

   Granular time-stretching turns seeds into hour-long beds. The model never hears the final form.

   Measure everything

   Sleep audio has hard loudness targets. Every delivery ships with a measurement report.
