Noor Baig's studio sits above a fabric shop in Gulberg, Lahore. The loudest thing in the room is the ceiling fan. The most important thing is a wall of index cards: one card per model build, one color per ornament type, tracking two years of what survives generation and what dissolves.

Her desk holds a 1962 Bina harmonium inherited from her grandmother, a Neumann on a boom over a floor cushion, and a laptop running FL Studio with exactly zero third-party plugins. 'The constraint is the discipline,' she says. 'The model already gives me infinite options. My job is to say no in an informed way.'
The released work re-records everything that matters: voices, tabla, harmonium. The generations prove an arrangement can exist. Musicians then make it true.
